The event was held at the extremely elegant and very intimate SAS Atlanta Sky Lounge, Guests were treated to mouthwatering honeysuckle lemonade cocktails compliments of CatHead Vodka. These perfect spring cocktails were made with fresh squeezed lemonade and honeysuckle flavored vodka. Guests were also treated to saporous hors d'oeuvres prepared by the lady of the hour. The featured delectable delights included Trinidadian mac and cheese, kale salad with smoky vinaigrette, curried fried chicken with Haitian mamba peanut sauce and sweet southern cornbread. Without a doubt, my favorite of the evening had to be the kale salad. The smoky vinaigrette was an excellent compliment to the fresh crisp kale. Ms. Bell also performed a live cooking demo. She prepared a tasty calypso jasmine rice. The rice was full of flavor and enjoyable to say the least. I was disappointed that there wasn't more.
