A Signature Taste of Hong Kong Sea Bass

AFBS members were offered complimentary copies of the cookbook Signature Tastes of Atlanta: Favorite Recipes from our Local Restaurants by Steven Siler. A firefighter-turned-chef and an Atlanta native, Siler created a series of "Signature Tastes" cookbooks from across the country. These cookbooks feature the best restaurant recipes from each city.

Seeing the recipe for Hong Kong-Style Sea Bass over stir-fried spinach, brought back memories of my 3-day stay in Hong Kong several years ago. This dish, a creation of the Atlanta Fish Market, is featured in the cookbook, and was a reminder of the fantastic street food, bright lights, chaotic crowds, and people-watching which made for a truly unique and exciting trip.

To quote the blurb on the back of the book, “Signature Tastes of Atlanta captures the culinary essence of the city known as Hotlanta.” Order your copy from Amazon for $9.95 with proceeds benefiting Meals on Wheels.
